Stolen lives

Stolen Lives is a guide for parents to make them aware and to help educate them on the dangers of street drugs in America today.

We will discuss topics such as:

  • What is drug addiction?
  • What to look for in your home?
  • How to talk with your children.
  • Treatment options.
  • Where to get help.
  • New drugs on the street.

And much, much more.

Information and research are what we, as parents, have found over the past 13 years with the struggle with chemical addiction in our family.

Most important! The proceeds from this book will help fund “Smile 4 Recovery”, a program that will provide dental work for recovering addicts.

Thank You in advance for purchasing our book.

A guide to help parents navigate through a loved one’s addiction.

A guide to help parents navigate through a loved one’s addiction.

We didn’t have a clue when we found out our son had a chemical addiction problem. As parents, we jumped on board to get him help.

The book’s first few chapters talk about the struggles and everything that our son, Betsy, and I tried as parents. It was a long journey, but we never gave up.

The last 16 chapters talk about everything we learned about drug addiction. My wife and I are not experts by any means but wanted to share what we learned. I wish we had a book like this 13 years ago. We tried everything under the sun. We will also discuss the new deadly street drugs ten times stronger than Fentanyl!

About Rick and Betsy

Rick and Betsy live in a beautiful town in the world’s horse capital. Both are retired, Rick from IBM/Lexmark and Betsy from the local school system.

This is our first book to help parents understand how serious drug addiction is in America, what to look for, and where to get help.

Drugs are everywhere, and we want to inform parents what their kids will see on the street. What to look for in your home and how to talk with your children.  We must educate ourselves and our children about these deadly street drugs. Taking drugs used to be an easy way to get a good high, but today, it is a death sentence.

We hope our experience from our 13 years of family addiction will help others understand how serious this problem is. There is hope, and treatment is available.

Don’t give up on your loved one!
